Briana's Eternal Fight

Just two days after giving birth to her beautiful daughter, Briana was diagnosed with Diffuse Midline Glioma (DMG), an aggressive and incurable brain cancer. What should have been the most joyful time in her life became the beginning of an unimaginable journey for Briana and our entire family.

 

From that moment on, Briana faced the impossible. She was told there was no cure. She was told her time was limited. But Briana never let that define how she lived. Every single day for 16 months, Briana woke up with one purpose, to fight. She fought not for herself, but for her daughter. She fought through treatments, constant uncertainty, and unimaginable physical and emotional pain. She traveled internationally in search of hope, pursuing every possible option, all while embracing motherhood with a love and determination that cannot be put into words.

 

Even in the face of her diagnosis, Briana would always say, “This is bigger than us.” She believed her fight had meaning beyond herself that it could bring awareness, inspire others, and help change the future for families facing the same devastating diagnosis. She carried the weight of knowing her diagnosis, yet chose courage anyway. She chose love anyway. She chose to show up for her daughter, for her family, and for every moment she was given. Briana’s fight was not just about survival. It was about strength, resilience, and the deep, unbreakable bond between a mother and her child. Briana’s Eternal Fight exists to honor her legacy to share her story, to raise awareness for Diffuse Midline Glioma, and to support others facing unimaginable battles.
